Utility Billing Specialist
The Tri City Water & Sanitary Authority is seeking motivated applicants to fill a Utility Billing Specialist position. This full time position is responsible for performing office support activities including reception, customer service, answering telephones, data entry, customer billing, accounts’ receivable, filing, and mailings.
Under the direct supervision of the Authority Manager, this position is
responsible for the following duties:
phone and greet visitors.
sort and distribute incoming mail.
customer water and sanitary billing.
payments from customers.
and complete service orders.
and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
maintenance and repairs for office equipment.
for taking board meeting minutes.
and mail customer notices (i.e. shut off notices).
up accounts payable.
support to Authority Manager, Administrative Assistant, Utility and Plant
staff to include typing, spreadsheets, Word documents, data entry, filing,
document scanning, copying, mailings, scheduling appointments and other
work as needed.
duties including washing dishes, maintaining beverage and supplies for
meetings in the board room.
dusting and maintaining clean work environment.
totals on electronic calculator.
with collections’ agency on past due accounts.
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent
and two year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift, squat and bend
in order to move up to 20 pounds.
